Fabric pests can cause holes, particularly in stored wool, cashmere, and other animal-based fibers. Multiple irregular holes, shed skins, webbing, or damage to clothing kept in dark areas may point toward an infestation. Carpet beetle larvae can also damage natural fabrics. The good news is that small holes don’t automatically mean your clothes are ruined.
