Body language expert spots chilling detail about backpack of masked person at Nancy Guthrie’s home

The search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has entered a more troubling phase after investigators released surveillance footage from outside her Tucson home. Nancy vanished on February 1, and blood found inside the house quickly raised fears that violence may have occurred. Nearly two weeks later, Nest doorbell video revealed a masked figure lingering at her front door in the early morning hours, deepening concern and urgency.

In the footage, a lone person in light-colored clothing, gloves, and a balaclava approaches the home carrying a backpack and what appears to be a firearm. The individual seems to tamper with the doorbell camera, suggesting an attempt to avoid identification. These deliberate actions have fueled worries that the visit was planned rather than random, and experts say the behavior does not match a typical burglary.

Former FBI agent Mark Harrigan noted the suspect’s unusual handling of the weapon, which appeared exposed and awkwardly held, possibly indicating inexperience rather than the actions of a seasoned criminal. Body language expert Susan Constantine also pointed to the full backpack and the suspect’s direct approach to the front door, explaining that burglars usually arrive with empty bags and often work in teams. Together, these details have intensified fears about the nature of the incident.

Public anxiety has grown further after reports of a third ransom note linked to a new Bitcoin wallet. The alleged closing line, “Time is more than relevant,” has heightened concern, though authorities have not confirmed the note’s authenticity. Officials are withholding sensitive details while investigators analyze the evidence.

Despite the troubling developments, authorities continue to pursue every lead and urge the public to avoid speculation. For Nancy’s family and the wider community, hope remains for answers and, above all, her safe return as investigators work to uncover what truly happened.
