Megan seemed like the perfect babysitter for Ryan and his wife. She was reliable, kept the house clean, sent photos of their one-year-old son, and quickly earned his trust. Still, his parents sometimes noticed that he seemed unusually sleepy when they returned from work. They had no idea that something far more serious was happening while they were away.

Megan eventually admitted that she had been giving the child small amounts of medication to make him sleep whenever he resisted his naps. She had done it to make caring for him easier. Her actions could have had devastating consequences, but Andre’s warning arrived just in time.
