Visual Test: Count the Circles to Reveal Hidden Personality Traits and Possible Narcissistic Tendencies Today

The image appeared to be an endless spiral, drawing my attention toward the center while making everything else disappear. Friends said it was a simple puzzle where I only needed to count the circles hidden in the design. At first, I thought it was just a normal optical illusion, but the longer I stared, the more confusing it became. Some circles looked obvious, while others seemed to fade away, making the answer harder to find.

I decided to study the image more carefully by zooming in and tracing each circle. Just when I thought I had solved it, I noticed a tiny handwritten message hidden between two faint rings. It contained only three words: **“Look behind you.”** For a moment, I felt uneasy and quickly turned around, but the room was empty. When I looked back at the screen, the message had disappeared, leaving only the original pattern behind.

Later, I searched for the history of the illustration and discovered that it was created by a retired psychology professor who studied visual perception. He often added hidden details to his demonstrations to show students that people usually focus only on what is obvious. The mysterious phrase was not a trick or something supernatural—it was a reminder that true observation requires patience and curiosity.

The experience changed the way I looked at everyday life. I began noticing small details I had previously ignored, from simple gestures by others to opportunities that were easy to miss. I realized that perception is not just about seeing; it is about paying attention and understanding what is around us.

Months later, I placed a copy of the illusion in my office. Visitors always tried to count the circles and debate the answer, but I encouraged them to keep looking. Some found the hidden message, while others did not. The lesson remained the same: important discoveries often appear only when we slow down and look beyond the surface.
